Engineering support

At ACB we understand that not every problem you face is a simple certification.

We offer engineering or admin support to help you understand the requirements and prepare for your certification project. This may include understanding which regulatory requirements apply to your product or help with the testing process. It may include dealing with the regulatory agencies.

We also understand that not every project you have will lead to a certification with us, and therefore we offer engineering support and consultancy on projects not related to certification. Often a product has been tested and assessed for the RE Directive or FCC/ISED sDoC requirements but may not require a certificate or Grant. Maybe you have installed radio modules into your device and you don’t know how to proceed now. We can help with that. We can check your compliance strategy, or help you plan one.

Our engineering support services are charged at an hourly rate. Prices increase for on-site engineering support, on-site training, or more complex projects.

This service includes:

  • e-mail and telephone support.
  • Research on technical or administrative requirements.
  • Communication with regulatory officials (if necessary) to determine compliance means and mechanisms.
  • Report or summary of guidance to effectively manage your testing/reporting and related approvals.
