Ownership Information Requirements

Publication Number: 719163
Question: When will the ownership information requirements adopted by the FCC in Report and Order FCC 25-27 become effective?

Answer:
FCC 25-27 adopted requirements for Telecommunication Certification Bodies (TCBs), test labs, and test lab accrediting bodies to certify to the FCC that they are not controlled by a prohibited entity and to submit information about all parties with 5% or more ownership or voting interest.

These ownership reporting requirements are designed to strengthen the integrity of the equipment authorization program and ensure protections for national security.
