Erratum Issued – Lower 37 GHz Band & Spectrum Above 24 GHz
An erratum has been issued correcting the Report and Order, Sixth Report and Order, and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FCC 25-24) concerning the Lower 37 GHz band and other mobile radio service spectrum bands above 24 GHz. This correction clarifies details within the published order.

ISED Canada Updates
RSS-HAC Amendment – Compliance Date Extended
Effective immediately, ISED has extended the compliance deadline for cellphone hearing aid compatibility (HAC) and volume control requirements from January 1, 2026, to January 1, 2028.

Family Certification – PMN Submission Changes
Effective June 30, 2025, ISED will no longer accept multiple Product Marketing Names (PMNs) in a single field on certification applications. If multiple PMNs exist, they must be submitted as a family certification, with each PMN listed under a separate Product Version (PV).
- PMNs can no longer be separated by commas, slashes, or dashes in a single field.
- Applications submitted with multiple PMNs in a single field will be returned for correction.
- No additional fees apply for multiple models under a family certification.
Example:
- Fifth PV = HVIN 1 + PMN 5
- First PV = HVIN 1 + PMN 1
- Second PV = HVIN 1 + PMN 2
- Third PV = HVIN 1 + PMN 3
- Fourth PV = HVIN 1 + PMN 4
