Family Certification – PMN Submission Changes

Effective June 30, 2025, ISED will no longer accept multiple Product Marketing Names (PMNs) in a single field on certification applications. If multiple PMNs exist, they must be submitted as a family certification, with each PMN listed under a separate Product Version (PV).

  • PMNs can no longer be separated by commas, slashes, or dashes in a single field.
  • Applications submitted with multiple PMNs in a single field will be returned for correction.
  • No additional fees apply for multiple models under a family certification.

Example:

  • First PV = HVIN 1 + PMN 1
  • Second PV = HVIN 1 + PMN 2
